What To Do If A Child Is Suffering From Tb?
hello Doc, my 7 year old nephew has diagnosed with Tuberclosis of Intestine. Severe pain and vomit are main symptoms. He suffered from 'child asthama' and wears specticals [poor vision -5].
Treatment has begun since yesterday and advised for at least 2.5 months. Kindly advise on precautions, food etc..

As your doctor said,treatment of TB is prolonged.The most important things to be noted are strict adherence to drug schedule,and maintaining a healthy diet rich in proteins,green leafy veges,and fruits.This will help a speedy recovery.Intestinal TB is not so infective to contacts as pulmonary TB.
