What To Do If A Bite Of Food Has Gone In To Wrong Pipe?

I was eating a cream cheese bagel yesterday, and was eating rather quickly. My last bite felt like it went down the wrong tube and now I am concerned that it may have gone into my lung. Is it possible for a rather large bite of food to make it into the lungs? Would it be incredibly obvious that this had occured? I have never had problems like this before. I am a 27 year old female wondering what I should do!

Hi.
I uñderstand your problem, some times it happen that fool enter into repiratory tract, but is is followed by severe and persistant cough, when it just touch your larynx.
There is nothing when you dont feel any breathing difficlty or cough or your feel à click sound while you breath in and out.
If it happens to you, rush to ENT surgeon for
Removal of foriegn body after getting a chest x-ray.
I hope you got my point. I will happy to help you further if you have any querry.
Wish you good health.thanks
