Hi, Both my ears are full of wax and because of this I am hardly able to hear anything, my doctor has told me to use soliwax for a few days and then she will flush out the wax. Its such an uncomfortable feeling. Is there anythhing I can do in the meantime to help me to hear better. Thanks

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic

I have read the query and understand your discomfort, its a type of conductive deafness you are suffering from due to impaction of wax. As the wax is hard, the doctor must have advised soliwax ear drops for softening the wax to facilitate its easy removal by syringing.

In my opinion nothing else is required apart from instilling soliwax ear drops 3-4 times daily for about a week.Gradually the wax will soften and improve the audibility.

Please don't use any ear buds as it can cause damage to the ear drum and further deep impaction of wax.Don't worry you will be able to hear normally in few days.

Kindly rate my answer if you find it useful.Feel free to ask any further queries.Take care.
