What Should Be The Dosage Of Shellcal 250?
Hello I am Mrs Jacob 52 yr old recently two of my friends told me to take Shellcal 250 cos they r taking and they r of my age... i bot them and I do not know when to consume them,before food or with food? i had developed ache in my legs this august and i got massage done.I want to c that it does not recurr.I am having tabs for hypothyroidism.Thyroxine 150 do give me an answer my ht is 165 cms and weight is 87 kg hello

Shelcal 500 mg tablet contains calcium carbonate 625 mg, vitamin D3 125 IU and elemental calcium 250 mg which is used to maintain healthy bones, joints and teeth, the levels of calcium and vitamin D3 in your body. It is used to treat certain bone conditions like osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and osteopenia.It is also used to treat and prevent calcium and vitamin D3 deficiencies. In patients with kidney dialysis, it is used to remove excess phosphate from the blood. It is indicated for pregnant women, lactating mother and elderly patients. Once daily dosage is usually recommended or as directed by your doctor. Take it preferably after the evening meal. This medication is known to accumulate in the fat and liver, so excessive use or use for prolonged period can be detrimental. So, before start taking this medication, you should consult your doctor and this medication shouldn't be consumed more than the quantity as well as duration prescribed by your doctor.
