My son is 13 yrs of age. He had jaundice when he was around 6 months of age. After several tests, he underwent Liver Biopsy as suggested by a Gastroenterologist, and was under medication for Liver Steatosis. High Protein diet was recommended with Udiliv 75 mg Tab, with Vitamin Syrup by Gastroenterologist in Mumbai. Every 4 months, blood tests were done. However, the enzyme levels were still high. Second Liver Biopsy was done when he was 12 yrs of age and was found to be having Paucity of Bile Ducts . The medicines that has been advised is Udiliv 150 mg in the morning and Udiliv 300 in the night, with high protein diet. Currently his SGPT is 155, SGOT 164, Alkaline Phosphate 640, GGT 604 and the levels are not coming down. Please advise.
