What Should Be Done For Accidental Hydroxychloriquinn Inatke?

my grandson apparently swallowed 2 and a half pills of hydroxychloriquinn tablets that i take twice daily he is in the hlospital now for a 24 hour observation will this be enough time for surveilance he is 3 yrs old the size of an average 5 yr old. I have locked all medication in my car as I am here for a visit

I have gone through your query.In acute stage usually they will give gastric lavage to remove the drug from stomach.He will be ok after the observation time.As the drug has retinal toxicity it is better to have an ophthalmologic examination also before you leave the hospital.Hope this may help you.
