What Should Be Done After Missing An Active Pill While On Contraceptive Pills?

Hello. I am on birth control and I missed my last active pill without realizing on Saturday night. I started my period yesterday and tonight I noticed I had missed the active pill and took it. Should I just start my new pack tomorrow night rather than going back to placebo pills?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern
When you missed one pill, you have to take as early as possible or on the next day with that day of tablet.
But as you got the period so chance of pregnancy is less.
Do not worry and start your new pack.
Take it regularly at bed time (make habit by putting the reminder in the mobile).
Hope this may help you

Contact JCM for further health query
Best regards
