I have read the query.
Leg cramps are common after sudden exercise,
dehydration,working when you are too tired,etc.I suggest my patients following measures to overcome the cramps and for pain relief:
1.Apply hot fomentation to the painful area.
2.Adequate hydration with proper intake of electrolytes like energy drinks will prevent further electrolyte loss.
3.Dont do heavy exercise immediately,simple exercises to relieve the
sprain after adequate rest for a day will help in quick recovery.
4.Application of
analgesic gel/spray like volini on affected part will help in quick pain relief.
5.I advice you a
muscle relaxant like tab.myospaz forte at bedtime for relaxation of muscles in spasm.
Dont worry following the above steps will relieve the spasm in 1-2 days.
