What Should I Look Out For At 36 Weeks Scan?

Hi, I am 29, 176cm and 32 weeks pregnant.

My scan yesterday showed my placenta is anterior and abutting the os. They booked another scan for me at 36 weeks time. Is there any change for the placenta to move up again?

What should I look out for during this period?

thanks

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion moving up of placenta is less likely to occur after 32 weeks.Take strict bed rest.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Consult doctor as soon as you notice any spotting or bleeding.Observe fetal movements.Dont worry as it is mild grade.Take proper care to avoid complications caused due to low lying placenta.
