What Quantity Of Infant Formula Should A 10-month-old Baby Be Given?

We re raising our grandson, now 10mos. Our 5 daughters (all breastfeed for 12 mos)are all healthy, but we ve forgotten what we did. ( used to have handbook from pediatrician) What formula amounts should our grandson get daily and what about nap schedules? My husband and I disagree, but he was at work during the day while I had the girls. Any guidance is welcome.

Hello ,i just read your query and would like to answer it.
When a baby reaches six months, he may want between 210ml and 240ml at a feed. His total formula intake may be around 900ml a day.
When you start giving your baby solids, his daily intake of formula milk is likely to gradually decrease to about 600ml.
When your baby is fully established on solids, he’ll need about 600ml of formula every day alongside a varied diet. Please remember that all babies are different. Don't worry if he doesn’t want this amount of milk, you can always give him milky foods such as rice pudding, custard and yoghurt.
After your baby's one year old, he can move from drinking formula to full-fat cow's milk.
Please bear in mind that these are only rough guidelines, and your baby will let you know if he's getting too much or too little formula. If you’re not sure, talk to us again.

As for sleep schedule-Babies for 9-12 months usually sleep for around 14 hours a day including 2 or more naps of 2 hours each. Please allow the baby to sleep naturally as much as possible as each one has different sleeping patterns
