What Quantity Of Livolin Is Recommended For Neubulization To Treat Chest Congestion?

My son is 2 years and one month old. He is down with acute chest congestion and cough and cold for last 15 days. His chest xray says its lower respiratory track congestion. He is under antibiotics for last 2 days. But he has been nebulised and he is a bit better now. Would it be advisable to nebulise him at home at least once or twice a day . If yes what is the dose of livolin I should give him and long will the nebulization needs to be done and how many times ? Kindly advise Gargi

Here your child having lower respiratory infection like bronchiolitis....
The nebulization will help in relieving bronchi constriction and child can breath properly
...
Usually in child infection is like by virus ....

For congestion antihistaminic drugs can given...
In less then 4 year child nebulization by levolin not recommended in excess.

Now if child looking good , don't give nebulization at home without doctor advise.

If any unusual signs appears then consult doc for it.
