What Persistent Blockage In The Heart Despite Appropriate Stent Placement?

My friend was taken to the hospital after passing out. Results ended in one stint due 100% blockage, and she still has 65% 70% and 85% blockage in the untreated blockages. She is leaning toward medication instead of quad bypass. Is that normal or dangerous?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sorry to hear of her disease. In fact sent can get blocked like a our vessel do. If she has blockage of multiple arteries bypass may be the best option if she has symptoms like chest pain or shortness software breath.

If she does not want a bypass then multiple stents placed may be a less better option. Medical treatment should also continue as advised to her.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
