What Medicine Is Taken To Reduce Throat Enlargement?

Hi I had a fever yesterday (almost 100) and now (I do not know the proper name) that punching bag that hangs down in the back of your throat is enlarged and hanging down to where I feel at times like I am going to choak. What could this be? And what do I do to get it to go back to its proper size?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The enlarged throat can be because of the tonisilitis or peritonsillar abscess.
Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like levofloxacin (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. Avoid cold items.
I hope i have answered your query. Take cara.
