What Medication Can Be Taken Along With Zoloft For Migraine?

I am taking 200 mg of Zoloft and was just prescribed 100mg of sumatriptan for migraines I read in the medication information that taking Zoloft and sumatriptan together may cause serotonin syndrome/toxicity, is this correct and what other migraine meds are out there that I could use with zoloft

Hi. I suggest that you use Ergotamine tartarate for migraines. It is true that Zoloft combined with sumatriptan may cause migraine headaches. However, this is not the rule and not a real danger. So, you may continue with your present medication. Thanks. Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
