General & Family Physician 's  Response
My dear fellow based on your history i think you are suffering from xerophthalmia commonly known as dry eyes. Please visit the ophthalmologist. He will examine your eyes and perform tests if necessary. If it is dry eyes then he will prescribe you eye drops of artificial tears which will help you alot. Thanks.

Ophthalmologist Dr. P. K. Sehgal's  Response
my assessment based on your symptoms is as follows...
1.you may be having conjunctivitis,,,an inflammation of the outer membrane of the eye.this could be infective in which case antibiotic drops would help..it could be allergic, in which case antiallergic and lubricating drops would be indicated.in both situations it will clear up soon with treatment and there is no cause for worry
2.obviously a check up by optician is indicated for verification of power of spectacles needed...properly prescribed glasses should take care of blurry vision and strain.
