What May Be The Cause Of Clicking Sound In Triceps?

hi, i have been working out for almost 8 months now,i lift heavy n do a lot of running, 5 months ago i was doing tricep extensions when suddenly i felt ssomething like peeling off the back of my tricep.i was in alittle pain for the next two or three days so i took a week off from gym. After that the pain was gone but whenver i extended my arm to full extension i feel clicking in my muscles covering the inside of the elbow(Where forearm meets the lower tricep and bicep tendon) nothing happens when i curl it but when i extebd it i feel the clicking every single time. There is no pain, swelling or numbness or sound.I only feel it when i touch it during full extension of the elbow. Can you please tell me what it could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a muscle tear or foreign body.

Consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
