Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Sudden onset seizures associated with loss of muscle tone can occur in atonic seizures and this needs further evaluation. A lot of individuals during seizures develop loss of muscle tone. As you had 2 episodes in last two days so in my opinion you should consult a psychiatrist for expert opinion. EEG can help to find out any seizure focus and will help in treatment. I would also advise you to get CT or MRI done to find out any lesion in brain causing the seizures. If everything comes normal then we can label these episodes as idiopathic seizures.

In seizures anti-epileptic drugs are used commonly. Drugs like Sodium Valproate, Phenytoin, Carbamazepine etc are commonly used. These drugs help in effective seizure control and you will feel better. Please consult a doctor for proper prescription of these drugs.

Thanks, Hope this helps you.
Take care
