What Is The Voice In My Son's Head That Told Him To Hurt Us?

Before our 7 year old son went to bed last night he told my husband that a voice is his head told him to hurt us. He said he thinks about stabbing us when he gives us a hug goodnight. I just finished reading articles about how common it is for children to hear voices but I can't imagine that this is not a cause for concern.

At 7 years old children do have an imagination. However you shoudl take your child to meet with a therapist who will use play therapy and such methods to try to know what is going on. Also avoid violent movies , cartoon with violence. when child speaks this way handle him with love and care-Good luck!
