Obimet is not the main problem. It is used in diabetes. This would imply someone with diabetes has a pregnancy. This is associated with a much higher risk of complications and needs to be watched/monitored/ checked on closely.
It is actually thought to be a good thing to take in pregnancy, but perhaps not as good as taking insulin in some women. Certainly not having diabetes watched and treated in pregnancy is quite dangerous to woman and pregnancy.
