Hi Mukul,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
IVF is an assisted reproductive technique. After embryo transfer, certain precautions and care needs to be taken, so that the chances of its implantation and picking up would be more.
Lonopin is a low molecular weight heparin, which is basically a blood thinner. It is known to improve the blood flow to the baby from the mother's side. It needs to be taken in early pregnancy and is generally recommended for the first 10 - 12 weeks of pregnancy. It is known to reduce the risk of miscarriage by preventing formation of blood clots. This drug does not cross the placenta, and is not expected to result in fetal exposure to the drug and cause fetal anomalies.
HCG is administered following embryo transfer so as to enhance and support embryo implantation. It is given for post-IVF luteal phase support, as booster shot injections.
Hence, kindly go ahead with what has been advised. Also healthy diet and consumption of good amount of fluids is advised. Kindly stick to the follow-up schedule as advised.
Wishing you a positive outcome.
All the best.
