Hi

Usually eye discharge happens because the duct connecting the eyes and the nose gets blocked. When secondary infection happens in the blocked duct, yellowish discharge happens.
What is needed is an antibiotic drops like Tobramycin thrice a day for a week.

Along with this massage has to be done on the duct area- between the inner corner of the eyes and nose. Massage has to be done with firm pressure with one finger frequently in a day. This has to be done for few weeks atleast to relieve the blockade.

Hope my answer helps.
Best wishes.
