What Is The Treatment For Tender, Painful, And Swollen Wrist After Fall?

I fell a week ago and landed hard on my right hand and left knee. I believe I may have broken or chipped the carpal bone in my wrist below my pinky finger. The area is tender, painful and swollen. If I did break or chip this bone what would be done for it? Would I have to be put in a cast? I have no insurance and cannot afford to not be working. I am the only income for the 3 adults in my household. Thank you for your help.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Look this is the first rule in fall injury that the injured part should be examined through x-ray test, now you can do one thing if you do not have much swelling and severe pain then you can just keep your wrist in cast for few days, with the anti-inflammatory drugs if this fails to respond then you have to go for x-ray study, hope this information helps you have nice day.
