What can I take or do safely to lessen pain which isn t touched by paracetamol? I assume it is a kidney pain as was called back for an ultrasound scan following my ct scan last month to investigate the pain. My gp will not prescribe anything, understandable as I have been reacting to medication with rashes and severe side effects and as I have fibromyalgia tend to have an enhanced pain response, but not helpful! I have to wait until end of January to see my gastroenterologist for test results and advice. Too long. I have cut dairy and other foods from my diet and wanted dietary advice as have lost 4 stone since last spring with the pain hence the ct scan. I am in tremendous pain and discomfort, nauseous though not being sick, with attacks of severe dizziness and feeling intensely cold. What should I do? I am reluctant to go back to my gp to be told the same again. Reassurance?
