What Is The Treatment For Severe Back Pain?

Hi, I am a female that has been experiencing left side back pain. The doctor thought it may be kidney infection so he perscribed a sulpha drug which I have taken for a week now.The pain started to subside a bit and I thought I was on the mend until I lifted something heavy and turned at the same time. I got a very sharp pain in the same area and it has been quite sore ever since. If it was kidney infection , wouldnt the drugs have cleared it up by now?

Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic.As you has lifted heavy weight. Probably you are having muscular pain. analgesics( diclofenac50 mg three times a day) can be of use.I think this will be of some help.
