What Is The Treatment For Running Nose And Boils In A 9 Year Old Child?

I have a young child who is 9 years old he constantily has a runny nose and gets boils he has been having these boils since the age of 2 years old. I am a very clean person therefore so is he I have brought him several times to pedicatrician each time an antibiotic is given and it takes forever to go away and then he develops another one. Currently he has two large ones on his leg that are black in the middle and he can barely walk...what do I do?

I can understand your concern.
If the boils are coming regularly, then there might be either of 2 problems.
1. Incomplete antibiotic course or
2. Resistance to antibiotics used.
So I would suggest you to do the complete course of antibiotics as advised by doctor.
Also apply fusidic cream on the boils along with nose and ear openings.

You can do culture and sensitivity of fluid collected from boils so that organism causing such recurrence can be find out and treated.
