What Is The Treatment For Pain While Urinating?

Ok, so I am 18 male, I have been experincing problems for long time but now is really getting worse, at first it was just the ocasional pain when urinating along with a little blood in my urin. I went to a doctor who told me to jsut drink more water i just kind of went with it even though it didnt really help but this wasnt unberable. I then started to have swings in my appitie suddenly I would be extreemly hungry and eat way more than normal like i ate a whole large pizza and a dessert, other times i wouldnt be hungry at all enough to finish a sandwige. I then started to have problems well when i pooped, i felt sharp pain and noticed blood on the toliet paper. This was over the past 3 to for years. Early this year i started having more problems i would start having burning or itching sensations and i would wipe many times a day to relive it. I also started having moments where i would become extreemly overheated and fatiged and dizzy. In the past few months It has escalited to the point where i was sitting in my college classes and i would suddenly become hot and nauses and sick i had headache started to sweat couldnt consentraite and i was just happy it was my last class for it lasted the rest of the day. When i woke up in the morning i thought i was better, but i found that i would just have these accurences at randomtimes of the day for no reason. i also had extreem temprature swings and i would become extreemly hot at one point, then so cold i couldnt stop shiviring. I also have found that i cannot eat much of anything without become nauses doing so and that i have felt generally ill for the past 3 days. I also noticed i was very constapated even though i felt i had to go, the next day i could but as i was well pooping sorry i dont know a better word, it hurt so bad i could barely keep from crying out i noticed a little blood on the toilet paper but i didnt even finish whiping because of the pain and went back later to finish and it still hurt but not as bad. But its the sickness dissynes confusion and extreem over heating and sweating with the headache and sensitive skin that has really gotten to me so can you help??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest doing a urinalysis to confirm the diagnosis.

I recommend taking antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin to treat the infection.

I also recommend using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
