What Is The Treatment For Cough With Blood In Sputum?

hi there, this s aparajitha. i have been suffering from cough since 15days. consulted doctor inetially they prescribed antibiotic amoxicyllin, they were severe side effects, so i stopped using it. continued with some home remedies. but it is not cured. i have seen few drops of blood in my sputum. i found it 2 to 3 times. could you suggest me any medicine.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having haemoptysis ( blood in sputum ).
Following ard the possible causes for haemoptysis.
1. Pneumonia
2. Tuberculosis
3. Bronchitis
4. Lung cancer.
And treatment of all are different.
So better to first diagnose the reason and then start appropriate treatment.
Consult pulmonologist for this and get done
1. Chest x ray
2. PFT ( pulmonary function test ).
Don't worry, you will be alright.
