Hi welcome to HCM.
Surgery for congenital heart disease like a hole in the heart generally pose no complications. However symptoms like chest pain needs to be specially addressed.I advise you to have a baseline ECG and 2 dimensional echo to assess the baseline cardiac function and to rule out pulmonary hypertension and intracardiac shunting.Revision of surgery is needed if the symptoms persist and fail to respond to drugs.Consult your cardiologist for further query.
Thank you.
