What Is The Remedy For A Burning Tongue After Eating Jalapeno Peppers?

Three days ago I ate two jalapeno peppers, with seeds. My mouth has been on fire since then and I cannot eat
or drink, instead spitting out a lot of saliva. Should I go to the local emergency room? I am a diabetic and my
blood sugard are getting quite low. (And would sthis be the same as "Burning Mouth Syndrome?"

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might be suffering from an allergic reaction to jalapeno peppers.
It is not burning mouth syndrome.
In the above mentioned condition no exact cause is known.
Apply a steroid oral paste.
Triamcinolone oral paste will be best for you.
This will give you relief from pain and help in healing.
Also take vitamin B complex capsules daily.
Please meet a dermatologist or dentist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
