What Is The Reason For Having Pain In Upper Left Side Of Abdomen For A Year?

Hi Doctor i am having pain on the upper left side of abdomen for past 1 year Have gone through X-ray/ CTscan and MRI thoracic spine it came normal . My GP said it could be costocondritis but she herself contradicted that it might not be for that long. Can you help please...
