What Is The Prognosis For Hematoma Above The Uterus During Pregnancy?

hello doctor,my wife in 7 week pregnancy,and she had scan and found a small hematoma superior to her uterus the baby is well,and the doctor assured us about it and gave us asprin,duphaston,folic acid tablets. My question is how I can assure my self and what is the status of my wife? Please doctor help me

Hello and welcome.

At 7 months of gestation there should not be a any risk to your child or wife. In most cases the hematoma in the region is self-restricting and subsides on its own and so we should keep a watch on it.

Your wife will be fine and this is nothing to worry about sir. Allow her to get as much rest as possible and I am sure in time both the mother and baby will be healthy and problem free with the current prescribed medications.
