What Is The Prognosis After Having A Hole In The Leg After Falling Over A Metal Pipe?
Yes, hi, my name is Alex. Recently my friend had fallen over a metal pipe and when he got up he found a hole in his leg. This really shocked me, and he was sent to the hospital. My question is, will he still be able to walk and run and do normal things? Furthermore, will he survive? (that last one is kind of an exaggeration)

He should be able to walk, but that will take time, depending upon the extent of damage.

He fell over a metal pipe, and had an hole in his leg.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment ,you may need to have an M.R.I. for finding the damage to the tissues in side the leg.
The treatment depends upon the injury to the deeper structures, like bone ,muscle, or only skin. if bone is injured may take more time for walking.
He may need surgery with plates and screws, or only plaster cast for recovery.
