General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

BHCG over 25 is an index of pregnancy. Levels of BHCG vary a lot during pregnancy from one woman to another. It is not possible to judge pregnancy age by BHCG and BHCG levels need to be monitored in 2-3 days to determine if they are normal (there is no single value that will determine if all is ok).
In your case, a level of 285 is a normal value for the pregnancy age that you are mentioning.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
