What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person With Mediastinum Breast Cancer?
Hi. My friend has been diagnosed with Secondary Breast cancer of the Mediastinum. 1 small tumour & 1 large tumour. The spine, oesophagus & heart are involved. She was cleared of cancer a year ago at her 5 year screening after remission. She instantly started an alternative regime coupled with medical treatment of hormones, She goes in at the end of the month for 3 month assessment. Aggressive radiation with 1 round of treatment will be talked about then if tumours have grown & not stayed the same or shrunk. She had a lot of radiation first time round, she has a lot of damage so Drs are careful this time. I need an approx. survival rate for this type of rare cancer? My friend is 52. thankyou in advance. I really appreciate your concern, it is very uncertain as long as the survival is concern, until and unless studied the case in detail, in advance case of malignancy it could be too early, over all the general condition and the vital organ functions matters the great and it is to be looked for survival time hope this information helps.
