What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Person Suffering With Gangrene?

my husband will not have foot amputated and it is gangreneous. He knows this means death. The condition has lasted perhaps five days. He is in hospice care facility. Not real conscious was normally very sharp person. Can t say what hospital he is in or how tall when ask. He smells. Any idea of how long he will live? Many are trying to make him as comfortable as posible. I am asking because of relatives asking and travel to see him etc. jeanne

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this the bad gangrene and only option is amputation then better to convince him for surgery make him sure that such surgery is not bad for life and not fetal, counselling would be the option hope this information helps.
