What Is The Function Of Sizodon And Rivamer Medicines?

My Mother is 70+ years old. She continuously talk loudly, sometimes cry and revoke without any reason and without indicating any person. She always want to show that she is busy with some work, but her works labour our work cause she makes room untidy, moves things one place to another, which is not tidy, totally untidy. I consulted with a mental Doctor, who prescribed me the following medicine 1. Sizodon 1mg(1 piece per day), 2. Rivamer 1.5mg(1 piece per day) . Can anyone explain me the function of this medecine? Hello

Sizodone is an antipsychotic drug which will help to control the irrelevant behaviour of your mother.

Rivamer is given in dementia. It is given to those people who have problems of forgetting in old age.

In my opinion, both are given in low doses and are appropriate for your mother.

If the symptoms dont improve in two weeks with this dose, dose can be increased.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
