What Is The Difference Between Methotrexate And Methotrexate Sodium?

What is the difference between methotrexate and methotrexate sodium if any? I am signing up for a medicare plan D and I used to take methotrexate 2.5 mg (10 tablets/25mg) once per week for Autoimmune inner ear disease. The closest listing is for methotrexate sodium.

it is basically the same. The compund is available as it's sodium salt. Infact many generic drug names that you commonly hear are actually present as their salt in medicines. So don't worry about it at all.
