What Is The Constant Blood In Stools And Brown Discharge?

Hi, I am 33 years old and there is blood in my stool, this is bright red in colour. I also have very dark brown discharge all the time. This is only recent but it does not seem to be going away...do you think I should go see a doc? I bought pile cream as thought it might be that but I have not used it yet...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

I understand your concerns. Your symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids. Some advice that I can give you are:

1) Apply an over-the-counter hemorrhoid cream.
2) Use pads containing witch hazel or a numbing agent.
3) Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help.

Thank you for the query.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
