Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was jogging and all of a sudden felt a weird pull along the back of my leg. The calf then felt knotted and I had to hobble to the car. I did a wet heat, mineral ice, rest, and ice. Now I can t make my foot and lower leg operate properly when I walk. Its like my foot is floppy and the calf won t join in on striding. What could it be?
It looks to me that you have blood collection in calf and that is causing you all the trouble. I would suggest you to get ultrasound examination to see other if there is any other problem. Till that time you should take Brufen tablet for pain relief and also hot water fomentation.
