What Is The Cause Of Red Blotches On Body After Showering?

Hi I get red blotches over my body after showering ,which
worsen when I start drying myself with a towel.
Also sometimes I just feel real itchy and start scratching all over.
I am 34 and never had anything like this before ,this is happening
for the last 18 months aprox.

Hi,

Red blotches are wheals means urticaria, which occurs after bathing and exacerbated after rubbing by the towel. It also occurs at time without appearant cause. So, you consult dermatologist. You seem to suffer by chronic idiopathic urticaria. He might investigate and give proper treatment for long time. Fexofenadine or desloratidine may be given to you for few months. If needed, short course of steroid may be prescribed. If there is internal disease found, that may be treated. You may be alright after long term treatment. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
