What Is The Cause Of Green Discharge And Stomach Pain During Pregnancy?

Hello i am 37 weeks pregnant and just had my first sign of light green thick discharge but it only came out when i used the bathroom.. did not come before or after. No smell to it. Also having side pain on my left side and back ache if that would help just started about an hour ago. Also pain in the mid stomach about 8 fingers up from the belly button.

At 37 weeks, a green thick discharge might very well represent amniotic fluid stained with something called meconium. Given the presence of this discharge AND the discomfort you are experiencing, it is recommended that you call your OB/GYN NOW. This can easily be evaluated and if it is just an infection, it can be treated before you go into labor.
