What Is The Cause Of Child Getting Sick At Mealtimes?

Hi, My 1 yr old son keeps being sick for no apparent reason, this has been going on for months. There doesn t seem to be a pattern to his sickness, it is mostly at meal times but not every meal and not every day, sometimes when he is sick at mealtimes we clean him up and he tucks into his food again unfazed. What could be the cause of this? He is generally very healthy, only the usual coughs and colds that all kids seem to get.

Hi,
Welcome to Hcm,
Your child seems to be having not very specific complaint. I understand the matter of concern but if he doesn't vomit every time he feeds a d it's occasionally then it doesn't seem like any problem in him. Also because he is otherwise well and loves to continue with his food, all signs that he is well . however such complaints can happen when there is a gastro esophageal reflux. I would suggest you consult a pediatric gastroenterologist or even a pediatrician for the same before ruling out that he is normal.
I wish good health for your child. Take care.
