What Is The Cause For The Pain In The Throat And The Ear When On Lozenges?

Hi I m experiencing pain in the left side of my throat for 4 days as well as my left ear. I have no appetite for food because it hurts to swallow food. I tried lozenges already but still it hurts when I don t take it.Do I need to take antibiotics now? Many thanks!

it is likely that you are having a throat infection and i would recommend that you start on antibiotics. please meet your doctor soon.
