I have a lump feeling in my throat, which has come after being sick with a cough and drainage since June. Still just a little cough and some drainage every now and again, but the lump feeling still there. It is uncomfortable. Not sure if it is serious or allergy or still a cold??
Hello It seems from the history that you are having a feeling of lump following an episode of cough and upper respiratory tract infection. This indicates post nasal discharge seen in chronic sinusitis. This indicates that infection is still persisting and requires treatment. The treatment is by use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs and use of lozenges provides symptomatic relief.
Thank you
