What Is The Cause For Feeling Pressure On The Lower Abdominal Area During 22 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 22 weeks and 5 days pregnant. A week ago I had my mid-pregnancy ultrasound and it showed that my placenta is posterior grade 1, lowest edge at the level of the internal os. I have no vaginal bleeding, although I oftentimes feel pressure on my lower abdominal area especially after doing household chores, after/while walking, or when I get tired. Is this a cause for concern? Should I just take it easy and avoid strenuous activities? I also have GDM but I do not take insulin as it is manageable with diet and exercise (walking, about 30 mins 2x/day). I am 30years old, 5'0", 118lbs.

SINCE YOUR PLACENTA IS NEAR INTERNAL OS IT IS BETTER TO AVOID WALKING ALSO.

YOU CAN MONITOR YOUR SUGAR LEVELS BIWEEKLY to take a control over it.

the pressure over lower abdomen is due to the enlarging foetus which compress on the lower uterine segment.
