What Is The Cause For Dizziness, Blurred Vision And Occasional Fainting?

Hi my husband is suffering from dizziness and occasionally accompanied by blurred vision he has no energy and has fainted a few times he doesn't feel well and only seems to feel better while he is laying down this gas been happening on and off for the last few months

Thanks for your query.

More information is needed.

However, it can be due to:-

# a fall in Blood Pressure on standing, which can be due to either a heart disease, low blood volume (due to dehydration), deposition of cholesterol in the neck arteries (leading to their gross narrowing) causing reduced blood supply to the brain.

# Weakness of the heart; or, abnormality of heart rhythm (particularly, a transient low pulse rate).

Consult your doctor/Cardiologist and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable/modified treatment as advised.
