What Is The Cause And Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node?

I have a reactive lymph node at the base of my neck. It has swollen to golf ball size and is tight and warm to the touch . Any pressure at the site or movement causes discomfort. I have no fever and have not recently been sick. It has been swollen like this for 10 days. Diagnosis or possible cause?

It may be due to infection..first go for a course of antibiotic..if it still doesnt subside u must go to your doctor because it might be the result of some underlying systemic pathology..and in that case a fnac might be required.
