i have had recurring symptoms of a UTI for months with no white cell count. have been poked, prodded, blood and urine taken, ct scans, xrays, etc all for the doc to tell me i m the picture of health and they dont know whats wrong with me. after seeing a different er doctor and having a culture done i was told i have klebsiella pneumonia (?) and to take macrobid. my question is, when the symptoms were in remission i would have intercourse with my husband. does he need to take the macrobid as well to ensure i dont get a recurring infection after the rx course? should he be tested as well?
