What Is The Cause And Treatment For Low Hemoglobin Count?

Hi, My blood ferritin level always between 500-800 ug/L. 4 months ago, I donated blood then it dropped to 400 level and also my Hemoglobin level dropped. After two months I went to donate blood, blood bank refused due to 119 hemoglobin level. Now my ferritin level is 808 and hemoglobin 128.

Hi,

Your levels are much better now. It can take up to 3 months for new red blood cells to form and therefore for the blood count to improve. You would be allowed to donate blood at this stage.
