What Is The Bruise To The Left Side Above Butt Without Injury?

I m suppose to have an injection to one of my lower discs...the doctor didn t tell me which one. It s been a month since...I m suppose to have it done this coming Tuesday. I have noticed my back getting worse. I now have a big bruise on my left side kind of above my butt. What does this mean? No I didn t fall.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this bruise. It is difficult to tel what the cause of a spontaneous bruise is and more so when trauma seems unlikely. I will suggest you get it examined by your physician during the next appointment so that we can gather more information. identify the cause and provide an adapted management plan for this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.
